Engineered to compensate for deformations in horizontal and vertical structures (floors, walls, ceilings). Reduces stresses caused by shrinkage and temperature fluctuations. Withstands truck loads.

Expansion Joint Devices AQUASTOP Type TPM — 14/012 — designed for protecting joints in horizontal and vertical structures (floors, walls, ceilings) in areas with high pedestrian traffic: shopping centers, office spaces. Joint width — 14 mm. Suitable for joints in floor structures with thickness — 12 mm. Guide rails are installed using the embedded method. The device consists of perforated aluminum guide rails and a flexible profiled compensator made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) in the center.

Installation:

  • Installation method: embedded, with fixation of guide rails into concrete base.
  • Fastening: 3 m long aluminum pressure strips, anchors or dowels.

Installation Guidelines for AQUASTOP® TPM Expansion Joint Devices

  1. Perform work at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
  2. Prepare the base: cleaning + leveling (if necessary).
  3. Install beacons starting from the reference point near the wall.
  4. Create expansion gap (≤10 mm) with damping tape around the perimeter.
  5. Begin tile installation from expansion joints. Pre-moisten the back side of tiles.
  6. For TPM-11/007 devices:
    • Tile thickness 7-8 mm;
    • Adhesive thickness 4-5 mm.
  7. For TPM-14/012 devices:
    • Tile thickness 8-10 mm;
    • Adhesive thickness 5-7 mm.
  8. Apply and level adhesive with a notched trowel.
  9. Assemble the device by embedding the guides into the adhesive.
  10. Perform tile installation.
  11. Fill the gap (2 mm) between the device and tiles with polyurethane sealant.

⚠️ Important! Anchor fasteners are not permitted for installation.
