Expansion Joint Device AQUASTOP TPA-12/010 is a 3-meter long embedded expansion joint designed for joint installation. This device is suitable for both indoor spaces and open areas. Engineered to compensate for deformations in horizontal and vertical structures (floors, walls, ceilings). Reduces stresses caused by shrinkage and temperature fluctuations. Withstands truck loads.

Expansion Joint Devices AQUASTOP Type TPA — 12/010 — designed for protecting joints in horizontal and vertical structures (floors, walls, ceilings) in areas with high pedestrian traffic: shopping centers, office spaces. Joint width — 12 mm. Suitable for joints in floor structures with thickness — 10 mm. Guide rails are installed using the embedded method. The device consists of perforated aluminum guide rails and a flexible profiled compensator made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) in the center.

Installation Guidelines for AQUASTOP® TPA Expansion Joint Devices

  1. Perform work at temperatures not lower than +5°C and not higher than +30°C.
  2. Prepare the base surface: clean from dirt, debris, and dust; level with polymer-cement mixture if necessary.
  3. Install beacons according to the finished floor level, starting from the reference beacon near the wall.
  4. Leave an expansion gap (≤10 mm) around the perimeter of walls using damping tape.
  5. Lay tiles from expansion joints toward walls. Moisten the back side of tiles before installation to remove dust.
  6. For TPA-12/010 devices:
    • Tile thickness 7-8 mm;
    • Adhesive thickness 4-5 mm.
  7. For TPA-15/010 devices:
    • Tile thickness 8-10 mm;
    • Adhesive thickness 5-7 mm.
  8. For TPA-20/010 devices:
    • Porcelain tile 12-15 mm;
    • Adhesive thickness 5-8 mm.
  9. Apply adhesive to the base and level with a notched trowel.
  10. Assemble the device by embedding the support parts of the guides into the adhesive.
  11. Begin tile installation.

⚠️ Important! The use of anchor fasteners for device installation is prohibited.
